Hunter Valley Wine Tour
Your day begins with your coach picking you all up
from your local pick-up suburb at around 8.30am.
(Depending on suburb)
From there you can sit back & relax in comfort as
your own private coach travels up the coast to
Cessnock & then through the lush rural countryside
of the 'Hunter Valley Vineyards'.
Your first stop is Rosemount Estate
The perfect place to experience the riches of the
region; from the iconic Rosemount Estate Roxburgh
Chardonnay to the world recognised Rosemount Estate
Show Reserve Chardonnay. All while enjoying the
beauty of the surrounding vineyards and ever
imposing Brokenback Range.
Your first stop will be “Oakvale”
• Here you will not only enjoy a great private wine
tasting from one of the oldest wineries in the
Hunter, but you will also sample some of the Hunters
most famous wines including their Verdelho which was
rated best in Australia by Gourmet Traveler
Magazine.
Your second tasting of the day will be at ‘Molly’s
Cradle’
• Molly’s Cradle is a privately owned family
company. The brand is built on a simple premise -
from the best grapes comes the best wine – Molly’s
Cradle is a boutique vineyard with initial plantings
of 17 acres now 25 acres.
After enjoying the exquisite wines “Molly’s Cradle”
has to offer, indulge in a spot of lunch.
Choose 2 of the following 3 options.
- 200 grm Sirloin Steak (prime local Hunter Valley
beef)
- Tuscan chicken breast (lightly seasoned country
style chicken breast – local produce)
- Swordfish or Tuna fish Steaks (straight from the
markets – fresh as you can get) subject to
availability
All meals served with fresh garden salads, full
range of condiments and fresh bread.
Your next stop is a short trek down the road to the
‘Lindemans’.
• Who has never heard of Lindemans! One of the most
modern winemaking facilities in the southern
hemisphere, Lindemans is responsible for crushing,
storing and packaging millions of litres of wine
which pass through its doors every year. It is, in
essence, the place that takes Lindemans to the
world.
Your last stop of the day will be a tasting at ‘The
Golden Grape Estate’.
• Here, you'll be able to taste some of their
premium Hunter Valley Wines from "The Cellar Door",
browse around the gift shop, or the museum with wine
technology dating back to the last century.
• Not only will you be able to taste the delights of
their wines, but this is also one of the only
wineries in the district that has butterscotch
schnapps and the golden tango cream (better known as
"Love in a Bottle").They also have just won an award
for ‘Dragons Breath’ which is chilli schnapps.
Your coach then leaves at around 4:40pm for the
return trip back to Sydney.
The price does depend on the amount of people that
actually go;
23 & over = $89.00 per head
12 - 22 persons = $94.00 per head
8 - 11 persons = $109.00 per head

wineries & also lunch.
